AI Learning Playground is Live: Engineering Basics for the AI Native Era

AI Learning Playground is officially live

I am excited to announce the official launch of AI Learning Playground.

Over the past few years, AI tools have made writing code more accessible than ever. You can ask ChatGPT or Claude to generate working code in seconds. But then —

“I got an error. I have no idea what to fix.” “How do I push this to GitHub again?” “The terminal is intimidating.”

Sound familiar?

In the AI Native era, engineering fundamentals matter more than ever. Understanding the code that AI generates — and knowing how to put it to work in your project — requires a solid foundation.

Who this site is for

AI Learning Playground was built for people who haven’t done engineering before.

  • AI beginners — You can write prompts, but environment setup trips you up
  • Product Managers (PMs) — You want to understand engineers better when you’re in the room
  • Marketers — You want to make small edits to your company’s site or tools
  • Designers — You want a smoother bridge from Figma to implementation

The goal is not to turn you into a software engineer. It’s to give you practical knowledge to do your work better in the age of AI.

What you’ll learn

Engineering Fundamentals

  • Terminal basics — Command line essentials and Homebrew
  • Development environment setup — VS Code, Node.js, and Python
  • Package managers — Getting started with npm and pip
  • Git & GitHub — Version control and the basics of collaborative development

Working with AI

  • AI tools — How to use Claude Code effectively
  • Comming Soon

Available in Japanese and English

All content is available in both Japanese and English. Switch languages anytime with the selector in the top-right corner. The site detects your browser language and takes you to the right version automatically.

Just getting started
